This book provides a useful source of material for the neurologist and for the internist who treats patients with involvement of the nervous system in diseases not usually considered to be primarily neurological. A wide range of general subject headings are contained in 24 chapters which include considerations of systems, such as the cardiovascular system; type of diseases, such as those of connective tissue or with specific etiology, such as infection. Each chapter consists of a skeletal outline and brief description of nervous system involvement followed by extensive references to the literature. The latter feature will be the most useful, and the author has performed a remarkable task in bringing together the most pertinent and current references. Many hours of bibliographic search may be saved by consulting this book. It should be readily available to house-officers in neurology and medicine and will provide for them an immediately available survey of
