The following correction should be made in the article "Effects of Steroids on Cerebral Electrical Activity," by Drs. Marcus, Watson, and Goldman, published in the November 1966 issue of the Archives.
On page 531, left-hand column, the sentence starting five lines from the top should read "Topical application to pial surface of cat cerebral cortex of a 0.1%-1.0% solution of conjugated estrogenic substances or of the major constituent estrone sulfate produced a persistent high amplitude, predominantly surface negative spike discharge which was at time preceded by a small surface positive component; these discharges originated in superficial and deeper cortical layers."
