Parkinson Disease Research Center.—  The Parkinson Disease Research Center will hold a two-day symposium of "Corticothalamic Projections and Sensorimotor Activities" at the main auditorium of the College of Psysicians and Surgeons at Columbia University, 640 W 168th St, New York, on October 5 and 6, 1971.Further information can be had from Dr. Tamas L. Neurosurgical Society of America.—  At the most recent meeting of the Neurosurgical Society of America, the following officers were elected: President, Frank E. Nulsen, MD; President-Elect, Thomas H. Mason, MD; Vice President, John Shillito, Jr., MD; Secretary, William F. Collins, Jr., MD; Treasurer, Herbert Lourie, MD.The next meeting of the society will be held at Delmonte Lodge, Pebble Beach, Carmel Calif, March 22 to 25, 1972.
