Abstract

A case of cervical intradural arachnoid cyst occurred in a 3-year-old child. The rarity of the condition and the presence of remissions and exacerbations make diagnosis difficult. An awareness of the pitfalls in diagnosis hopefully will permit an early recognition of the condition and effective neurosurgical treatment.
