This 517-page textbook is concerned with newer aspects in the surgical management of intracranial and extracranial vascular anastomoses, aneurysms, and arteriovenous anomalies exclusive of intracranial clipping or excision, extracranial approaches to basal brain tumors, intracranial approaches to deep midline tumors, congenital CNS anomalies, spinal bone and disk pathology, and intractable pain. The topics are discussed, in reference to indications, operative technique, and results, by 41 contributing authors, each having extensive experience and demonstrated expertise in his or her area.
