To the Editor.
—In the May 1987 issue of Archives, Schwartzman and McLellan1 provided an excellent review of the entity "Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy."I do have a major means of contention with their diagnostic test. At no time do they mention the use of thermography. Thermography2 is the best diagnostic instrument beyond the physical examination in the evaluation of the disorder and its treatment.
