Abstract

• Apparent sustained lid lag appears to be a peculiar neuro-ophthalmologic finding in Guillain-Barré-Strohl syndrome. We propose that the sign occurs with peripheral facial paralysis and it results after attempted forced lid closure, rather than being of central origin.
