Incorrect Notations and Formula

In the article entitled "Background Review and Current Concepts of Reperfusion Injury" published in the November issue of the Archives (1990;47:1245-1254), the following errors were printed. On page 1248, column 3, paragraph 1, line 9, the notation should have been (R.); therefore, the sentence should have read: "The presence of an upaired single electron in the outer orbital of a free radical is conventionally represented by a superscript dot (R.)." On page 1249, column 1, paragraph 3, line 16, the formula for the iron-catalyzed "Haber-Weiss" reaction should have read as follows:

On page 1250, lines 5 through 7 of the figure legend for Fig 4 should have read as follows: "Subsequent reactions produce hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) that can combine with Cl- in a reaction catalyzed by myeloperoxidase to produce hypochlorous acid (HOCl)." On page 1251, column 2, paragraph 1, lines 5 through 8 should have read as
