Roger N. Rosenberg, MD, the Zale Distinguished Professor of Neurology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, has been selected as the next chief editor of the Archives of Neurology, effective July 1, 1997. He is a distinguished clinician, teacher, researcher, administrator, and editor. These talents, along with an indefatigable zeal, will ensure not only continuing but also increased success for the Archives of Neurology.

He received his undergraduate degree from Tufts University in Boston, Mass, and his medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, Ill. He trained in neurology at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston and at the New York Neurological Institute in New York City. His research training was in the laboratory of Marshal Nirenberg, MD, at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Md.
