Williams et al1 have written an excellent article on the treatment of Sjögren syndrome with prednisone and cyclophosphamide. Azathioprine has also been used to treat Sjögren syndrome in mice and men,2 although a double-blind placebo-controlled trial in humans showed no therapeutic effect.3
