Many of the recently published neuro-oncology books focus on primary brain tumors. Cancer Neurology in Clinical Practice, however, takes the perspective of systemic cancer and how it affects the nervous system. The book is multiauthored by a range of European and American authors, most of whom are practicing neuro-oncologists with extensive clinical experience. The target audience for this book appears to be the practicing neurologist—not infrequently consulted for patients whose cancer affects the nervous system.
