Our call for papers for this special theme issue resulted in a vigorous and robust response. In this issue and the April issue of Archives, clinical and molecular neurogenetics and neuromics—the genomic analyses of neurological disorders and functions—are represented by truly outstanding scientific presentations covering a wide array of subjects by world-class authorities in the field. We are most grateful for their support. The diversity of articles includes genome whole-array analyses for Alzheimer disease and multiple sclerosis, providing a neuromic perspective. Neurological review topics include gene-targeted therapies; retromer gene polymorphisms and Alzheimer disease; a HapMap analysis; stem cells and neurological disease; and defining the tau and progranulin mutations causing frontotemporal disease.
