The Esther A. and Joseph Klingenstein Fund is pleased to announce its Fellowship Awards in the Neuroscienes for 2003. The purpose of these awards is to support young investigators, in the early stages of their careers, engaged in basic or clinical research that may lead to a better understanding of the etiology, treatment, and prevention of epilepsy. The Klingenstein Fund recognizes that to accomplish these goals it is necessary to encourage a variety of approaches. These include studies at the molecular and cellular levels as well as research into the integrative function of the nervous system and clinical investigations.
