To the Editor With great interest, we read the systematic review and meta-analysis by He et al.1 The authors estimated the association of acupuncture and acupressure with improved cancer pain by meta-analysis. They stated that acupuncture and/or acupressure was significantly associated with reduced cancer pain and decreased use of analgesics. We have read this article carefully, and the authors are to be praised for their research design. They developed a detailed retrieval strategy and defined inclusion and exclusion criteria to enable comprehensive studies to be included in this meta-analysis. Nevertheless, there are still some issues that need to be further explored.
