Arch Ophthalmol. 1998;116(2):263. doi:

This book is designed to be used as an easily readable pocket reference. As such, it is satisfactory. Important clinical points are emphasized, and it is organized in a concise, thoughtful manner. Ophthalmologists in training will find it a useful reference tool, particularly the differential diagnosis section. However, it is not detailed enough to be used as the sole reference to review for national ophthalomologic examinations. There is a lack of illustrations, and those that are present are highly schematic. This book would be an excellent review for medical students studying ophthalmology, especially if it is supplemented by an atlas.
