Bruch Membrane Breaks Independent of Laser Spots Following Photocoagulation for Retinopathy of Prematurity

Retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) is a potentially blinding condition that is treated in the developed world with standardized screening and treatment protocols.1

We report previously undescribed, to our knowledge, retinal changes following laser treatment in 1 eye of a premature neonate with 17q12-deletion syndrome and multiple systemic abnormalities.
