Ocular Anesthesia offers 20 contributing authors from a variety of fields of ophthalmology and 1 from the field of anesthesiology. The editor's goal is to provide the reader with the expertise in anesthesia used by experienced surgeons in the fields of cataract, glaucoma, refractive, strabismus, vitreoretinal, neuro-ophthalmic, and oculoplastic surgery. There is also advice from surgeons who handle the diagnosis and management of anesthesia complications. At the end of each chapter is a fairly complete list of references.
