Arch Ophthalmol. 2002;120(4):524. doi:

This is a concise, well-organized, and comprehensive text dealing with the broad topics of pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus. The text is a reasonable, portable size and consists of 292 pages divided into 20 chapters.

Each chapter has an outline at the beginning, as well as many isolated boxes summarizing differential diagnoses, clinical and laboratory features, and important findings. At the end of the each chapter is a list of major points.

Pertinent headings in bold type punctuate the sections frequently. This feature aids in quickly identifying the specific information being sought. Numerous black-and-white as well as color photographs highlight the text and effectively demonstrate many clinical points and appearances.
