The Fraunfelders should be revered by all ophthalmologists everywhere,
having taken on the enormous responsibility of creating the national registry
of drug-induced ocular side effects. The publication, Drug-Induced
Ocular Side Effects, has emanated from reports of such side effects
to the national registry. Additionally, the authors have gleaned data from
such side effects reported to the US Food and Drug Administration, and side
effects reported to the World Health Organization.
