To the Editor We read with great interest the recent study by Singman et al,1 which highlighted multiple patient-centered metrics that improved after the institution of same-day access (SDA) compared with emergency department (ED) care. However, this study does not explore the association of introducing SDA with outcomes in the education of ophthalmology trainees.
