I wish to commend Miyake et al1 on their well-designed study showing that latanoprost, when given continuously both before and after cataract surgery, affects perifoveal leakage demonstrated by fluorescein angiography at 5 weeks after surgery in some eyes. However, I believe it is important to reemphasize some of the authors' interesting findings to place them in another perspective.
