The best way to learn a new surgical technique is to practice. But first, the ophthalmologist needs to observe and understand all aspects of the procedure. This user-friendly CD-ROM allows the beginning laser in situ keratomileusis (LASIK) surgeon to sit back in the comfort of his or her home and explore refractive surgery.
This CD-ROM is full of ideas from leading experts in ophthalmic surgery. Before using it, I attended 2 LASIK training courses. Because there was a delay between attending the courses and performing my first LASIK surgical procedures, I found this CD-ROM quite useful. I played the CD-ROM in the evening before my surgical cases as a relaxing review.
