"Diabetic Retinopathy" is a compilation of chapters on various aspects of diabetes and its ocular manifestations written by an outstanding group of European experts. Overall, the chapters follow a sequence that begins with clinical features of diabetic retinopathy. Specific chapters cover the various aspects of its medical and surgical treatment, complications, and basic ocular and systemic pathophysiological features. Throughout the text, there are high-quality black-and-white and color images of clinical and pathologic specimens that nicely illustrate the text.
