We read with interest the report by Meacock et al.1 In their prospective randomized trial, they study the effect of texturing the intraocular lens edge on postoperative glare symptoms. They concluded from a study of 60 patients that texturing of the edge is "very successful in reducing postoperative photic symptoms."1(p1298)
