The Color Atlas of Cosmetic Oculofacial Surgery is compiled by 3 experienced and well-respected authors in the oculoplastic field. Just over 300 pages, the book is arranged into 15 chapters that range from the basics of patient selection and preoperative preparation, to various surgical techniques, and finally to advanced complications and revisions. The material is presented primarily by illustrations to highlight pertinent features, and complemented with relevant text. A portion of the atlas is based on a previous publication by one of the authors (Chen WP. Oculoplastic Surgery: The Essentials. New York, NY: Thiene; 2001) and a majority of the figures are borrowed from this previous text. Nonetheless, the clinical evaluation and surgical techniques presented are thorough and equal in quality to many of the leading textbooks in oculoplastics currently.
