George Strong Derby Memorial Fund.—The desire has been spontaneously expressed among the friends and patients of the late Dr. George S. Derby that a fund be created by donations, the principal to be kept intact, and the annual income to be applied under the direction of the Board of Surgeons and the Board of Managers of the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary to continue projects fostered by Dr. Derby. Among other things, it is desired to continue and to widen the application of medical social work to eye clinics, and to provide instruction for medical social workers. Contributions to the fund should be directed to Mr. James Dean, Treasurer, 201 Devonshire Street, Boston, and should be plainly marked "for the George Strong Derby Memorial Fund."
