Abstract

GENERAL NEWS

Mallory Institute of Pathology Dedicated.—On Wednesday afternoon, December 13, the formal opening and dedication of the Mallory Institute of Pathology took place at the Boston City Hospital, Boston. The new institute of pathology is named in honor of Dr. Frank Burr Mallory, who has been connected with the Boston City Hospital for over forty years, with a long and splendid record of service and progress behind him. The Mallory Institute contains over one million cubic feet of space and not only will house the pathologic, bacteriologic and serologic units of the hospital, but will provide facilities for the county medical examiner and the new ambulance station. In the evening, a testimonial dinner was tendered Dr. Mallory at the Harvard Club.
