—The Philippine Ophthalmological and Otolaryngological Society has been formed, and the inaugural meeting was held on Jan. 26, 1946, at the Gauzón Memorial Hall, Philippine General Hospital, Manila.The following officers were elected: president, Antonio S. Fernando, M.D.; vice-president, Edmundo Reyes, M.D.; secretary-treasurer, Jose N. Cruz, M.D.; directors, Germiniano de Ocampo, M.D.; Tomas Hano, M.D.; Jesus Eusebio, M.D., and Gregorio Färrales, M.D.Meetings will be held in January, March, May, July, September and November.

—The annual spring graduate course in ophthalmology and otolaryngology will be held at the Gill Memorial Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital, Roanoke. Va., April 7 to 12, 1947.
