Heed Ophthalmic Foundation
—The Heed Ophthalmic Foundation offers a limited number of fellowships for advanced training in ophthalmology.Only candidates who have completed a minimum of two years' specialized study in ophthalmology are eligible.United States citizenship is required.Application blanks and additional information may be obtained from the secretary of the board of directors, Dr. M. Hayward Post, 520 Metropolitan Building, 508 North Grand Boulevard, St. Louis 3.The first fellowship, to be known as the Gradle Fellowship, has been given to Dr. John C. Poore, now finishing his residency at the University of California Medical School, and the second, to Dr. Herbert B. Shields, who is in a like position at Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis.
