Medical Motion Pictures.  —A revised catalogue of motion pictures available through the Committee on Medical Motion Pictures of the American Medical Association is now ready. Copies will be sent to the secretary of each county and state medical society. This catalogue lists 62 16-mm. films, most of which are at the professional level. Fourteen of these films are suitable for showing to lay groups. Eight new films have been added. Copies are available upon request from the Committee on Medical Motion Pictures, American Medical Association, 535 No. Dearborn St., Chicago 10.


Société française d'ophthalmologie.  —The 58th Congress of this society was held in Paris, May 6 to 10, 1951, and it was, as usual, a very international meeting, which is natural, since half the membership of the Society is non-French.
