Société française d'ophthalmologie continues to publish monographs which are of great value to ophthalmologists all over the world. The last of these is a monograph on retinoblastomas. Unfortunately, the authors continue to use the term "glioma" rather than the one proposed in 1926 by Verhoeff.
This volume is a documentation of the world literature and contains a practically complete bibliography. To those who read French the book will be very welcome.
