The Eighty-Ninth Annual Meeting of the American Ophthalmological Society was held at Hot Springs, Va., on May 28, 29, and 30, 1953, with Dr. William L. Benedict, President, occupying the Chair. The "Transactions" include the proceedings, the papers presented, and their discussions, and the theses which have been accepted from the newly elected members.
