Routine reports were made by the President and the Treasurer dealing with the general position and the affairs of the Council during the previous year.

It was reported that the authors of the various languages (Alvaro, Arruga [Spanish], Amsler [French, German], Bietti [Italian, Latin], and Duke-Elder [English] ) had completed their work and that the manuscript of the Dictionary was now in the hands
