This book is composed of a series of manuscripts by various well-known authors on the subject of keratoplasty. The editor, Dr. Rycroft, has written the chapters on the history of keratoplasty, special instruments to be used in the performance of the operation, and the results of his own cases and those reported in the literature. He has also assembled an excellent bibliography arranged in alphabetical order. The other chapters are as follows:
The book contains a wealth of material arranged in a scholarly and compact form, with a good index, which makes the book useful from a practical point of view. It is a very real contribution to the literature on corneal grafting.
