The first part of this book suggests the treatment of various symptoms complained of by the patient, for example, tearing, photophobia, diplopia, poor vision, difficulties in adaptation, and visual fatigue. This is an unusual approach but interesting. The second part deals with the pharmacology and pharmacodynamics of drugs used in the eyes or used generally in eye diseases. The third deals with treatment for various ocular diseases, apparently selected somewhat at random. The fourth and fifth sections deal with treatment of general diseases affecting the eyes and with ocular tumors.
The book is written in readable French and has a fairly complete index.
