Additions to the Editorial Board.
—Two additions to the Archives Editorial Board were made in 1961: Dr. Ludwig von Sallmann, Chief of the Division of Ophthalmology, Clinical Center of the National Institutes of Health; and Dr. Lorenz Zimmerman, Chief of the section of Ophthalmology of the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology.Dr. von Sallmann has long been associated with the Archives in various capacities. For many years he was the unofficial assistant to Dr. Arnold Knapp during the latter's stewardship of the Archives. Dr. von Sallmann has also served as an Associate Editor and has given freely of his time and counsel in matters of manuscript reviewing.Dr. Lorenz Zimmerman brings strength and authority to the Archives in that expanding field of ophthalmic pathology. His appointment is believed to be the first in which a nonophthalmologist has been appointed to the full Editorial Board. This attests not only to
