This is a rather routine textbook of neurology which is designed specifically for medical students and residents. The approach to the material does not provide any innovations. The book is divided into two sections: the first dealing with the interpretation of signs and symptoms and the second consisting of a survey of the diseases of the central nervous system. Since neuro-ophthalmological entities are not covered in sufficient detail it has no particular merit for the ophthalmologist.
