Emory University Course in Orthoptics.  —The Department of Ophthalmology, Emory University School of Medicine, Atlanta, Ga, offers a 15-month course in orthoptic training fulfilling the requirements of the syllabus of the American Orthoptic Council. Lectures are given in anatomy, physiology, optics, orthoptics, and applied ophthalmology. Practical experience is obtained in the orthoptic clinics of Emory University and Grady Memorial Hospital. The course commences in August 1965. Applicants who are registered nurses or who have a bachelor's degree will be considered. Inquiries and applications may be addressed to Charles F.
