Abstract

Dr. Fox's letter was referred to Dr. Kwitko who offers the following reply:

To the Editor:  Dr. Fox's letter is a welcome addition to the chapter on entropion in his book on plastic surgery since he (as well as other authorities1-7) has until now failed to describe "this poor little tarsoconjunctival triangle" in his discussion on the treatment of entropion.Thus, if Dr. Fox (while throwing around all that Confederate money) wishes to pontificate on the virtue of an adequate review of the literature, he will find me an ardent listener. However, I would like to suggest that when preparing his chapter on entropion he might have included a description of "this poor little tarsoconjunctival triangle" so that his readers could be made aware of another procedure for correcting this very common problem.
