Abstract

Three instances are reported of extensive stripping of Descemet's membrane occurring during cataract extraction. The membrane was reattached by withdrawing aqueous and injecting air into the anterior chamber of the three eyes, and straightening the membrane with a cyclodialysis spatula in two of the eyes. Results were excellent in two eyes, fair in the third.
