Experimental Retinal Detachments: Induced by Oxygen and Phenothiazines

The effect of oxygen exposure combined with simultaneous administration of chloroquine or phenothiazine has increased greatly the incidence of oxygen-induced retinal detachment. Prolonged treatments resulted in extensive retinal degeneration.
