Abstract

By raising episcleral venous pressure above its normal values, two steady states of the eye can be compared and pseudofacility calculated. Pseudofacility has been measured in 21 normal human subjects and compared to the value of total facility. Pseudofacility has a value of 0.06μl min-1 mm Hg-1 which was approximately 20% of total facility.
