This volume, written by Canadian ophthalmologists, is a contribution to the Canadian Centennial Celebration. The papers cover a multiplicity of subjects from retinal detachment surgery to aids for the partially sighted. There are good review articles on chronic simple glaucoma, ophthalmic plastic surgery, keratoplasty, orbital fractures, scotometry, and the use of phenothiazines.
