Schiøtz-Applanation Disparity Following Retinal Detachment Surgery

Abstract

Changes in ocular rigidity following scleral surgery for retinal detachment were investigated in 115 eyes. The mean disparity between applanation and Schiøtz measurement of intraocular pressure averaged 8.6 mm Hg at one month and 5.8 mm Hg at six months following operation.
