CALENDAR OF COMING EVENTS
Management of Retinal Detachment.
—The Department of Ophthalmology of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and the Eye and Ear Hospital are offering a comprehensive five-day seminar, Aug 4-8, 1969, on "The Management of Retinal Detachment." The program will include surgical clinics with closed circuit television, didactic lectures, and practical laboratory sessions in ophthalmoscopy and biomicroscopy. Animal work in surgical techniques, cryosurgery, and light coagulation (photo and laser) will be conducted.The faculty are M. F. McCaslin, MD; W. G. Everett, MD; Charles J. Campbell, MD; J. Graham Dobbie, MD; T. M. Evans, MD; A. A. Kreiger, MD; K. T. Richardson, MD; and J. R. Quinn, MD. The course is limited to 12 ophthalmologists; tuition is $250. For information, write W. G.
