In the Surgical Technique by Frueh and Henderson, "Rectus Muscle Union in Sixth Nerve Paralysis," which appeared in the February 1971 issue of the Archives (85:191-196), Fig 1 should be turned 180°. This will not only make the legend read correctly, but will also bring the inferior oblique to the under side of the eye. Also, in Table 1, postoperatively there were 20 prism diopters of adduction (not abduction) in case 3, and in case 9, it was the left medial rectus which was recessed (not the right).
