Abstract

This book is the summer 1970 volume of the International Ophthalmology Clinic series. Its content reinforces one's opinion that a subscription to the series is well worth the $25 cost for the four volumes. This issue is devoted to individual papers, general discussion, and a round table panel covering most aspects of corneal surgery presented at a symposium sponsored by the Eye Bank for Sight Restoration and the Southampton Hospital, at Southampton, NY, June 1970.

It is an outstanding book, made so primarily by the ability and experience of the contributing authors, and the informality of the atmosphere which facilitated the expression of opinion based on fact and intelligent supposition. There were 21 contributors, among them Drs. N. Bronson; R. T. Paton; J. Buxton; C. Dohlman; M. Fine; H. Katzin; H. Kaufman; J. King; A. Maumenee; D. Paton; R. Troutman; and L. Zimmerman.
