This multiauthored book is characterized by moderate strengths and weaknesses. Attempts to present a multidisciplinary approach to the problems of dyslexia have occasionally led to much academic discussion (as in the chapter on Auditory Articulatory Dimensions) with only superficial contributions in other areas (Predictive Studies). The book does include some interesting case histories and provides the reader with an idea of the problem and what the multidisciplinary approach can offer.
