Light Flashes as a Clue to Retinal Disease

Abstract

Of 100 patients complaining of light flashes, excluding those with rhegmatogenous retinal separation, 23% were found to have demonstrable vitreoretinal disease. Of these, 16% had retinal breaks or holes.
