It is unfortunate that the title of this book is misleading. It offers little to the parent or the educator who seeks some assistance in the problems of reading and dyslexia. Rather, it is an interesting discussion of many controversial aspects that the author treats with over-simplified suggestions. In part, it is a personal autobiography of his own experiences and clinical impressions, which often overrides factual knowledge of the subjects under discussion. The book does touch on many interesting problems with regard to dyslexia and reading problems.
